Mythothon

After #MagicalReadathon in August and #BYOBthon in October I thought I was going to take a break from readathons. Bamboozled myself, because I have decided to participate in #Mythothon hosted by @FoxesFairyTale! Keep reading to see my TBR. I put a lot of pressure on myself to complete these readathons, so some of these books may change.

Zeus. King of the Gods. God of the Sky. Read a book at least 400 pages long.

Hera. Queen of the Gods. Goddess of Marriage, Mothers and Families. Read a book about royalty.
-The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine
Hebe. Goddess of Eternal Youth. Read a Middle Grade or Young Adult book.
-City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab
Poseidon. God of the Sea. Read a book which features the sea – mermaids, pirates, surfers etc.
-Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller
Hermes. God of Travelers and Thieves. Read a book set in a country not your own.
-Circe by Madeline Miller
Aphrodite. Goddess of Love and Beauty. Read a book with a beautiful cover.
-Heartless by Marissa Meyer
The Hydra. Multiheaded Serpent. Read a book with more than one POV.
-Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart
Iris. Goddess of the Rainbow. Read a book with your favourite colour on the cover or in the title.
-The Red Queen by Christina Henry
Ancient Greece. Read a book set in the past.
-Moloka’i by Alan Brennert
Hestia. Goddess of the Hearth. Read the first book in a series.
-The Paper Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg
Dionysus. God of Wine. Celebrate this year by reading a 2018 release.
-Failure is an Option by H. Jon Benjamin
Achilles and Patroclus. Read a book with an LGBT+ protagonist.
-The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
Free Choice.
-A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
Homer. Read a retelling (of a myth, fairy tale, classic novel etc.)
-Pride by Ibi Zoboi
Hephaestus. God of Fire and Smiths. Read a book with a disabled character.
-Wildcard by Marie Lu
Ares. God of War. Read a book with a compelling antagonist or a written from the villain’s POV.
-Vengeful by V. E. Schwab
Echidna. Mother of Monsters. Read a book about monsters – dragons, zombies, serial killers etc.
-Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco
Herakles. Read a popular book (define ‘popular’ as you wish).
-Smoke in the Sun by Renee Ahdieh
Gaia. Primordial Earth Goddess. Read a book which was published at least 5 years ago.
-A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle
Artemis. Goddess of the Moon and the Hunt. Read a book with an animal on the cover or in the title.
-Pax by Sara Pennypacker
Athena. Goddess of Wisdom, Strategy and Crafts. Read a book that’s not the first in the series.
-The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan
Persephone. Goddess of the Underworld and Springtime. Read a book which is less than 200 pages.
-Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire
Apollo. God of Prophesy, Plague and Poetry. Read a collection of poetry or short stories.
-The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo
Hades. God of the Underworld and Riches. Read a book which you got for free (library, from a friend, ARC, Kindle offer etc.)
-Daughter of Moloka’i by Alan Brennert
Demeter. Goddess of Agriculture. Read a book with a nature word in the title – e.g. leaf, wind, flower etc.
-The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein
